So what? Women are serving aren't they? If half leaving the plane were women then the other half were men right? Why does this kind of crap always have to creep into something so good as this ad. We voted for it and at last glance it was in the lead. I hope it wins and wins big. This ad brought a tear to my eye as it did to others. It's a great ad and our hats are off to Anhauser Busch. Amen to that (or HOO-AH if you prefer). I think that the commercial was meant to honor ALL troops serving the U.S. right now, not JUST those in Iraq and Afghanistan, and even many of those soldiers are women. Did you know that well over 40% of all new U.S. Army recruits are women?
You probably cried when the two chicks hugged at the State of the Union speech didn't you?
I would like to extend a HUGE thanks to ALL of the women serving abroad to keep us safe us at home.
(Oh yeah, and a small token of appreciation to the men, too).
