No sweat, I know in my case, when I shake the family tree, I shake out a fair share of nuts. B-) I know some of my ancestry is Russian, I've heard stories where the few that stayed behind became Bolsheviks so I believe everybody has a few loonies in their family tree.
About these people going to Canada, good riddance, although there are many conservatives up there that would not like them either so I think they should go further like Cuba, France or North Korea.
