Russert should stick to interviewing stupid people.

It works out better that way.

That was an absolutely beautiful spanking of the lying, fundamentally dishonest shill Russert! I LOVED it! :)

He cleaned Russert's clock and would not be interrupted once he started reading the transcript. Rummy was on his game in this morning's interview.

I watched it. A thing of great beauty. I have never seen Russert put down as well as Rummy did today. A landmark in TV news as far as I'm concerned. God Bless Donald Rumsfeld.

Did Russert get that look on his face like a big St Bernard who got crapping in the middle of the new carpet?

Rumsfeld needs to ask Mr. Russert how many armored humvees the terrorists have. How many tanks, how many fighter planes, how many warships, how many laser guided bombs, how many moabs, how many nukes...

And that is why President Bush did not accept his resignation twice. And that is why we civilians love Rummy, Secretary of Defense.

Who would have thought that the American people need a Secretary of Defense to protect them for MSM? Who would have thunk?

I missed this but it's so rich I looked up "Meet the Press" on tvguide.com so I can watch it.

I saw some of Stephanopolous' interview of Rumsfeld this AM and couldn't help but chuckle at how the wise elder man refused to get entrapped by the youngster appearing to look for all the world like he was asking questions that needed answering.
