I haven't been to the airport since I was 12..LOL BUT I always Thank anyone I meet that has been or is in the Military. I get the biggest smiles from the toughest guys...It's Classic.

Had a bunch of GI's walking through what looked an airport terminal in slow mo. People in the terminal started turning and clapping.
At the end there was just a simple :Thank You.

That happened to me and a bunch of the guys in the D/FW airport last December when I came home on R&R.
Believe it or not even I got to thank some soldiers for doing what they did. Over in Abilene, KS this year a bunch of the guys portrayed in the book "Band of Brothers" were there and I thanked them for what they did.

Seriously, we always just thought of it as a job...everything took on a new meaning after 9/11, and I suspect a lot of the tough ones still haven't gotten used to it.
Back to the game...until Piper comes back into the computer room!
