I am quite sure that most of who responded to the topic of
this thread were quite aware of the purpose of the article
in question. Like me, they share your concerns. However, as
you know, much of what goes on here amounts to "preaching to
the choir". My point is that many who contributed a little
levity to this thread are no less concerned about "recruit-
ing children into homosexuality" than are you. They merely
decided to address the most superficial element of the ar-
ticle for laughs. Addressing the underlying point of the
piece is something that is better done with the general
public as opposed to an audience of like-minded conserva-
tives IMO.
Actually, these same type of comments, and worse, are made on the threads concerning this seriousness of this matter....and I'm not referring to articles such as this which are created to be "silly."
Addressing the underlying point of the piece is something that is better done with the general public as opposed to an audience of like-minded conserva- tives IMO.
The general public's reaction....well I can only imagine is worse than those in FR. Many, many FReepers aren't alarmed or concerned about the homosexual agenda getting into schools. In fact, they either don't or won't believe it, hundreds of posters in FR...and that's what concerns me. If people who I thought were "like-minded" in FR are acting as bad or worse about the realities of the situation, I can only imagine how it is "out there."
How can the homosexual agenda be stopped if so many "like minded" people don't see or admit there's a problem? Really, I'm not preaching to the choir.
