This stone was erected in 1992 at Floors Farm, Scottland, at the ground where Rudolf Hess first touched Scottish soil on the night of 10th May 1941.

The memorial was destroyed with a sledge hammer on 18th November 1993 by members of the so-called Anti-Nazi League, a militant Marxist organisation. The destruction was obviously well planned, as it was filmed by the Scottish Television and the press printed pictures of the destruction.

Who was responsible for putting the stone up, anyway? The British? Germans?
