Yeah...but it's adult women making the purchases!
How funny! Whoever is selling the action figure GI Cody on Ebay is going to make a MINT! This toy is a collectors item! They don't make them anymore according to the article...WOW!
I love this whole story. You know, on a more serious note, it says a lot about how desperate our adversaries in Iraq are. Iraq is a quagmire, alright...but not for us.
This doll is unbelievable realistic. I wonder if the women buying are looking to see how anatomically correct they are?
Rotfl. I've sent the story out to my list.
"You know, on a more serious note, it says a lot about how desperate our adversaries in Iraq are."
It does indeed. Also how disorganized they are. However, many of them are still quite dangerous. It's a good thing Cody is just a doll (is it ok to say doll? toy, whatever!) but that Italian woman reporter was grabbed the other day and may meet a grisly end. I certainly hope not, but the Islamofacists are going to kill many more, I'm afraid, before we've killed enough of them to persuade them it's not worth it.
And, as you can see from the story of the murdered family in Jersey City (Jihad City we should start calling it) not all of these murders will take place overseas.
I'm surprised that Jessie and Al have not treatened to sue due to the low number of minority representation.
But, but.... Ken will get jealous. And G.I. Joe will want to pick a fight....
My Barbies think he's hot, though...
They aren't selling for that much on eBay... a search for current and completed items show most sales at $45, with the highest $76.
HMMMM...that's what the article said, it was a quote. So, I checked too. Found one currently priced at $142.50 with 2 hrs. to go. Guess it depends on how you do your search, what words you use to search, I mean. As is always the difficulty with eBay. Still, it was a funny article.
I searched on "Special Ops Cody."
Are we still supposed to believe that Iraqi insurgents are responsible for the hoax? I think it's more likely that this was put out by some geeky teenagers with a doll, a cinderblock, and web access.
