I had something similar happen to me, but wasn't arrested. I didn't date for about 5 years.
I dated someone as equally unstable. It took six months to realize it, but I broke it off cold -- or so I thought. They psycho I dated caused me utter hell for 3 years. I finally moved to get away from her insanity. Only after I broke up with her did her family admit she attempted suicide a few times. Women can easily be the most vicious creatures you can imagine. To day the least, it took me years before I could trust a woman. Shakespeare peneed the perfect line about women.. " Hell hath no fury like a womam scorned."
