I worked in Norway for many months -- there actually aren't a lot more blondes there than there are anywhere else.
That's very interesting, thanks for your insights. I'm suffering from the stereotype that many people do, that being Scandinavians are typically blonde and blue-eyed.
P.S. I know I probably shouldn't speak in generalities, but this woman was in the mental health field. The majority of people who I recall from college and later who were involved in mental health were some of the most dysfunctional people I'd ever met. This lady is doing little to dispel that image for me.FWIW

I haven't knowingly had contact with mental health workers, but I dated three women who were spectacularly beautiful, very intelligent Psychology majors.
They were the most dysfunctional, screwed-up women that I have ever encountered in my life.

I agree about the probable cause--but have some reservations about the process, especially no bail, when he produced an alibi witness. Despite what you see in the TV I don't think it's very easy to get people involved in lying for you, especially a 'whitebread' type of fellow like his friend seemed to be.
Unless these guys appeared to the cops like hardened criminals from past records or offenses, you'd think some judgement based on experience would begin to come into play after her second or third accusation against them. (granted that most liars aren't willing to bruise and cut themselves, even a little)
I don't know. My experience is probably stained by my problems with my ex-wife who used to stalk me for years after our divorce, go through my trash, and once phoned my bank (anonymously) and told them I was laundering money through an account. The joke was on her. The trustee account for my kid's education I'd set up had never had more than the intitial deposit of $50.00 in it because she refused to sign on it. I got wind of it through a vice-president of the bank who was a friend. He told me it came up in their Board meeting and was a subject of concern until they checked the account. Then everyone got a good laugh. Except me, because it scared me that she was willing to go that far to ruin my name.
This is a real problem with American justice - if you can't afford it, you may not get a fari trial.

All essential points, and I don't have a coherent solution for any of them other than continuing to elect Republicans, as all of this garbage emanates from the Left.
I guess this reinforces the necessity of dating and marrying only Republicans or people you get to know in church. You need to be assured of a basic commonality of thought patterns and processes.
The strange thing is he had absolute proof he was somewhere else and should not have even been arrested. The truth eventually came out and he was exonerated, but the whole affair was scary as all get out.
I also personally know of a guy who was head of a Federal Law Enforcement Agency, in a medium sized city, and a deacon in the church. He was arrested and charged with rape based solely on a womans seeing him and telling the cops he was the man. He also had an ironclad alibi and the cops did do their job in this case and caught the right one who didn' even look like him. He had the arrest completely removed from the records but the average guy would have gone through life with that arrest report still on their record.
Very scary and an important reminder that justice is, unfortunately, not equal for all.
I'm not going to touch this line with a ten-foot.....anything........LOL!
At least make sure that the 'object' makes lots of loud, satisfying noises :-)

Well, the difference with being married would have been that he would have still had all of the bad stuff happen to him but he would also have lost every dime as well as having to pay alimony for the next thirty years as well.
One can see why men commit suicide sometimes......
