A radio talk show host in my city has a son in Iraq and his son was in the group that first entered Fallujah---the talk show host played an audio tape today that his son sent him of one of the fire-fights---you could hear a ton of shooting going both ways, but you could also hear the troops screaming in joy when they hit one of the terrorist SOBs!!!

If they call THIS supporting our military, I think our military's reaction is likely to be "thanks, but no thanks". Repeating a line because they don't have the guts to attacks our troops the way they did in the '60's, only because the American people won't allow that to EVER happen again, doesn't make it so. They don't support the mission. They don't support funding. they don't support what is neceassry to win a war. They don't support victory in their mission.
No, all the want to do is to deny them funding. Call for them to cut and run. Hang them for their conscience and survival instincts. Demand a draft so hunadreds of thousands can die, so they can score a political victory.

Press, Garofalo, Ron Reagan Jr., Kennedy, Chris Matthews, and all that crowd want the results but don't want the actions necessary to achieve them. All they can do is bitch, bitch, bitch, because in their social circles TALKING and THINKING about a certain position is just as important as putting one's ass on the line. As someone who's never served, I find their incessant negativism without ever offering workable solutions or admitting when our forces and leaders do something right, abso-freakin nauseating.
Just picture Alan and Michelle Malkin. Would he have behaved even remotely like Matthews treated Michelle? That show (when he abused MM) probably enraged me more than any liberal outrage has in many years. I just wanted to jump into the set and throttle his wattle-y old Irish neck--usually I'm more jaded and able to take the junk.
