They should be parties to the case because the errors - particluarly when they were asked to reconsider votes using updated signatures following the SC ruling that helped King County do precisely that - were made by the individual counties, therefore they should remain parties to the case.
The auditors should remain for purposes of discovery and to keep the case expedited through the courts.
