I've suffered through listening to all those you've mentioned and they give me the sh_ts. Almost without exception there has been no really good, creative, original C&W music to come out of the industry in the last couple of decades. I keep listening to the new stuff, looking for something worthwhile, and am disappointed more times than not.
There used to be a higher percentage of performers who demonstratedly wrote their own material, unlike today. They were the creative ones because it was their product; unlike a stable of writers who crank-out material for interchangeable performers.
Yes, Jackson has a song with good lyrics, but the presentation is horrible. The lyricist is to be commended; the performer is not.
ROFL.
Eat a lot of cheese when you listen to that music, that will help to control your heaving bowels.
LOL!
You sure have a high opinion of your judgement. You really must wonder how much more intelligent you would be if you had only gotten some oxygen at birth.
;-)
Your overwhelming criticism of the Country and Western music of the past 20 some years, is doing little to disguise your inferiority complex.
