Why in the world would he give her an "F"? What was his justification for that? What did he cite as a valid reason for that "F"? I'd have complained, loudly.

He was into overthrowing the government, etc. He nevere gave her a reason, he made fun of her. In fact one of the guys in heer class challenged him and said Indians needed to get over being victims and care for themselves,,he kicked the guy out of the class.

My daughter was 19, well behaved, a product of an all girls school where everyone had good manners and very protected. She couldn't stand up to this guy but knew she had been royally screwed. She is having the last laugh now!!

Go easy on Ward. Judging from his resume and comments, he's not the sharpest tool in the shed. If it wasn't for multiculturalism and ethnic studies, he would be asking you if you wanted fries with that. Her daughter probably used some big words he couldn't understand and the poor guy just got intimidated and scared. The "F" was reflexive, a defensive action against Churchill's bete noir, intelligence...

She got an "F" for having the timerity to suggest that the Indian might somehow be able to improve themselves by their own effort, implying that perhaps they might share some responsibility for their own condition, instead of blaming it all on the "White Man".

She would have done better by suggesting organizing boycotts and demonstrations and demanding reparations from the government. That would have worked.
