It's frightening isn't it? In the 2/05 issue of COMMENTARY magazine, they say the US is a pathetic 28th worldwide in mathematic achievement, with Hong King 1st, Finland 2nd, Japan 6th, Canada 7th, etc. IMO education is right up there with national security as far as matters that need attention here in the United States.

Home-schooled kids, many of whom are taught alternatives to evolution, score way above average here in science and math. You are mixing apples and oranges.

Our children will hate our generation for destroying America's greatness. At the rate we are going, within 100 years, Chinese will be the dominate world language while Americans are laughed at for being ignorant fools..
