In the week before the GOP convention, Silver was a guest on Hannity and Colmes. He reiterated, at that time, that he is a
liberal. He spoke passionately about his support of our President and his administration's handling of the WoT. He also mentioned that he is passionate about a woman's "right to choose." IIRC, he went on to
briefly discuss a few other of his favorite liberal causes.
Even if he is still a liberal, even if he is still a democrat, I have a lot of respect for the guy for voicing what is an unpopular opinion in Hollyweird: that President Bush is right in his handling of the fight against terrorism.
