If we can traipse to the other side of the globe to bring stability to that dump, there's no reason why we couldn't "stabilize" Venezuala.

Nonsense. Venezuelan production has been dropping ever since February 2003. There are dozens of oil and gas projects currently stalled.

Venezuela's Central Bank has reserves of $23 billion, given the ongoing collapse of PDVSA, Chavez will run out of bribes for the masses by 2006.
