Unfortunately, I beg to differ with you; Maybe some have choice, but the ones I know just knew it around 11 or 12 years of age.

This is such a heartwrenching subject. I personally know a homosexual who, with pain in his eyes, told me he knew at age 5 that he was 'different'. While I don't think there should be the emphasis there is in our schools re this subject, nevertheless, I think we need to have some compassion for people who struggle with this.

Yeah, those are the folks that knew early on that they were different that doesn't fit with the choice issue. Not that I pretend to know the real answer. How do you make choices at 5 or 12??

Most of us did, some of us still do. However they do not allow for compassion, or help, they want endorsement that the life style is normal, and it isn't. In fact, even the endorsement as a legitimate alternative lifestyle will not stop the depression, the drug and alcohol addictions, nor the tremendous health risks. Down deep inside I believe they know it isn't normal, and no matter how much denial they use to justify it, they know down deep inside.
