La Quinta Inns orders abortionist to stop using hotel as hospital

Wichita, Feb. 02, 2005 (CNA) - La Quinta Inns has ordered late-term abortionist George Tiller to stop using its hotels to provide ongoing medical care to abortion patients undergoing multiple-day procedures at his clinic, reported Operation Rescue.

Due to pressure from pro-life organizations, the corporate head office sent an investigator to Wichita and discovered that Tiller’s nurses were renting rooms at the local La Quinta Inn in order to provide ongoing medical care to abortion patients.

La Quinta Inn representative Teresa Ferguson informed Operation Rescue that Tiller was called by the corporate office and told to immediately stop the practice, which they had determined to be an illegal one.

"Thanks to hundreds of men and women of conscience who called and brought Tiller's association with the La Quinta to the attention of the corporate office, an end has been put to this apparently illegal arrangement," said Operation Rescue president Troy Newman.

Ferguson said Tiller was told he could no longer use the La Quinta name in any of his literature or on his Web site.

The news comes days after one of Tiller's patients died from abortion complications.

George Tiller - a beast of satan. There's an extra hot room in hell waiting for him.

This explained why they acted now, before I bet they had a blind eye. I can't see how they couldn't know at the local level before this happened. OK, it is a good thing, it is a shame that a woman and thousands of children died before they took action.

"Women and Families are intellectually, emotionally, spiritually, and ethically competent to struggle with complex health issues -- including abortion -- and come to decisions that are appropriate for themselves."

I gues the family part doesn't include the baby.

Get a load of this crap off this "Dr's" website....DISGUSTING!!!

The Chaplaincy program is designed to bring spiritual resources to those who come to the Clinic for help and assistance. Spiritually, abortion is acceptable in ten of the world's religions and in Christianity many denominations affirm and uphold the right of a woman to make the choice of abortion. The Chaplaincy program works with people from all religious backgrounds as well as those who are not a part of a spiritual tradition. The program offers individual counseling, group counseling and the celebration of spiritual sacraments such as baptism of the still born fetus and blessings for the aborted fetus. The program works with many different religions and is prepared to do, or arrange for, religious services from any spiritual religion. The services of Women's Health Care Serves is a coordinated effort so that every patient and significant other can experience the healing of body, mind and spirit.

This poor woman was someone's daughter. Very likely she was someone's sister. Possibly she was a living child's mother.

Abortion always leaves one dead, and one wounded.

Late-term abortions require overnight observation of the mother in many cases, I'll bet, even for a "physician" like Tiller.

I'd guess he means the results of a saline abortion. A dead baby, delivered normally.

Does he not have hospital privileges? Or were these pre-abortion overnights, for the laminaria required in a partial-birth abortion?

Which ones? Not any that I know of.

Not surprising. Hillary Clinton's Marxist mentor, Saul Alinsky, in his book Rules for Radicals teaches the organizer that he must give a moral appearance: “All effective action requires the passport of morality.”

The tenth rule of the ethics of means and ends states “that you do what you can with what you have and clothe it with moral arguments ... Moral rationalization is indispensable at all times of action whether to justify the selection or the use of ends or means.”

Rules for Radicals provides the organizer with a tactical style for community organization that assumes an adversarial relationship between groups of people in which one either dominates or is dominated. ... ."

And Saul Alinsky followed his own rules, too:

"The greatest enemy of individual freedom is the individual himself." --Saul Alinsky
*

Marcus Tullius Cicero: "A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist."

Does he not have hospital privileges?

He probably does, but the issue is insurance coverage. It is way too expensive. I know of no plan that pays for elective abortions.

I used to work with a plastic surgeon who performed a type of elective cosmetic surgery that was somewhat controversial and only provided by a handful of surgeons in the country. He had patients from all over the world come to him for this stuff. Obviously, most cosmetic surgeries are not covered by insurance so the patients wanted to minimize the time in the hospital to keep expenses down. Therefore, it was common practice for him to require that the patient stay a certain number of nights in a local hotel so that he could provide follow-up and also in case of emergencies he was locally available in the immediate post-op period.

However, the nursing staff NEVER visited or provided care for them in the hotel. They had to come into the office for that.
