I've spent a lot of time on the free trade vs. freedom threads, and the facts appear to be such that the good paying blue collar job is going the way of the dodo bird. Thus, IF I remember Econ 101, any additional supply of labor will drive down the price needed to attract such labor. In other words, while I am suspicious of free trade, the hand writing is on the wall. There's too many American. or too many Americans that think they can make a living doing blue type work. Show me where I'm wrong?

Construction and the trades involved in it. Now, you'll probably fire back and talk about all of the immigrants that are in those jobs and how they're driving down the labor rates...fine then, think small, be small. The money is made being by being a general or sub contractor (If I'm not mistaken, many states require a five-year apprenticeship in a trade and then passing the licensing requirements) is very handsome.
