churchill's hair was jet black circa 1980.
did he dye it? to create his persona?
today, his hair is clearly ligher--a brown, with patches of greying.

I can spot a dye job. Especially back in 1980, they were not as good.I think it's the light, the film and other circumstances he's photographed in
