me too.....I just saw some of you ladies trashing her way past the trash point the other day.....I agree Peggy was way off on her inaugeral comments but considering that she almost always, in fact I have never heard her say anything bad about the Repubs, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Just was wondering if you could cut her some slack some day......LOL.....i think she has earned it, especially after writing that great speech for Reagan on the D-Day celebration
Peggy commented that not all people can have a democratic government. This was made right before the Iraqi elections. This was inexcusable.
She armed our enemies with her comments. It was an irresponsible column, and not well thought.
But tomorrow, she will have a column saying that Bush followed her lead. Full of herself, she is. Bah.
Why? When she has proved herself to be quite a hypocrite. It never ceases to amaze me why there are some on FR who come to defend a "conservative" columnist at all costs, but a President, they will not defend.
