Billybob - I didn't know you had resided in MD - so did I. Didn't one of Nancy's brothers get charged with rape about 1954? Not the one who was mayor!! And you are 100% correct about the whole lot of them being corrupt.

I almost feel sorry for Juan, except he volunteers to do this. He doesn't have a gun to his head. Defending the Dems is so beneath everyone. They were so petty, flailing everywhere.

Nancy Polosi made a mistake.
Next Iraqi election is in October, not December

Absolutely terrific moment(s) when camera panned to the Hogans, wasn't it? I also appreciated how the President didn't hurry through or give any indication that the audience should stop applauding. Mr. Bush was beautifully patient and let them have their moment in history. God bless him for that. You know what? We have a really DECENT President, don't we? Those pesky Dems just can't stand it, either. I'm such a softy - started to get a little misty.

Poor Juan....he never knows when to stop talking. He always seems to find a way to insert his foot in his mouth. Looks like he's going for the double tonight.

First few minutes after the speech I couldn't follow a word that Brit was saying. Turned the TV off and came to FR.....
He had the speech in advance, why wasn't he more coherent?

Scarborough got hit one too many times in the head with palm fronds while he was covering Hurricane Ivan. He's turning left.
Since when is Norah O'Donnell a political analyst? Hm.

Juan says the speech is a failure because it didn't meet the standards of the democrats
As if any bar they set even mattered.
To: DoughtyOne
I agree. This is not the place to be contentious. This is a thread to give Dubya the honor he deserves. Especially after the succesful election in Iraq!
We can argue issues elsewhere. All in all; I was very impressed, and VERY proud of our President.
