I read another article on the high unemployment rate in Germany and Europe (as a whole). It was funny because the author said that things are just as bad in the United States.
Well lets see: U.S. unemployment isn't close to 12% and our economy hasn't been flatlined for 3 years. But I'm sure that his article must have made a few Europeans feel that they weren't alone.
It won't get better with the Euro inflating so fast. In fact, U.S. manufactures are already starting to see a shift in the steel industry because of the exchange rate between the dollar and euro.
