The crux of the matter, in my opinion, is that Jews and Christians have always been able to talk about their differences in beliefs without rancor, and both support the other.
With Islam there is no discussion. It's their way or death.
An interesting side-note:
I lived in Singapore for three years. I knew many Buddhists so I became interested in their belief system.
A lot of hotels there have the Book of Buddha and a Bible in the rooms. While I was staying in the Shagria Lai Hotel I studied the Book of Buddha and was surprised to learn that Buddha's teachings are not that much different from those of Jesus Christ. Love is the guiding theme.
I'm sure Islam hates them with almost the same fervor as Christians and Jews.
You put that perfectly, TC. Jews and Christians have been able to co-exist very well in America in the past 50 years; and we must stick together in the days to come.
