I would take issue with Muslims not being scientific. In fact, if I am correct, they lead/paved the way for scientific developments for Europe and the 'Enlightenment' with their mathematics research.

That's what they keep telling us. Unfortunately, history and reality tells us a different story.
They were good librarians and superb collectors of other people's scientific advancements, which came to a grinding halt when islam took control over a region.

Educate yourself. Research how many books are published by all islamic countries today. How many of those are scientific and technical?

Bomb-making manuals and murder manuals don't count.

Holy mackarel! How many times do we have to go through this same BS?

Muslims like Avveroes and Avicenna made significant advances in philosophy (reconciling Aristotle with monotheism) and medicine. Moses Maimonides was influenced by the Islamic philosphers. And he influenced Aquinas. That period (roughly 800AD-1200AD) was their classical period. They have since entered the Dark Ages where they currently remain.
