Did you hear Durbin talk about how this memo ended up causing the "torture" in Iraq. Then later he read the article of the UCMJ that specically prohibits torture, then he read Army training manual which states torture is prohibited.
So he stated that the military law and military training of the soldiers at abu ghraib specifically forbids torture, but somehow a legal memo in the Justice dept. caused those soldiers to go against that training and military law.
The guy is such a fool he undercuts his own arguement and doesn't even realize it.
