PROGRAM -- (Senate - February 01, 2005)
Mr. BROWNBACK. Mr. President, tomorrow the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Alberto Gonzales to be Attorney General. A number of colleagues spoke on this nomination today, and we expect a full day of debate tomorrow as well. Under the agreement, we will alternate debate in 1-hour blocks throughout the day. Again, I encourage those Members who wish to speak on the Gonzales nomination to contact the chairman and ranking member of the Judiciary Committee as soon as possible.

I doubt it. But I don't really know....just got here myself.
and I have the head cold from hell......everything already sounds like its underwater. So I'll be listening to Sen. Waterbed Sheets!
George Bush has done more for this country and conservatism than any man in the past 20 years.
That you can't see that speaks volumes about your agenda.
Dean and the rest of those demomorons couldn't copy Newt Gingrich's cat. Give us a break.
It's on CSPAN 3.....and I just switched over; it seems to be "going" okay........no blood on the floor.
Thanks for the heads-up..Garret's a good guy..I like him..he deserves a promotion,a raise, to at least LtCol Garrett..(G)
Thanks..I don't think Chertoff will play "nice"...he'll give it right back to them, I trust..
LOL! My sympathy. Every time I ask myself HOW anyone could vote for certain dems, I remember my hide-bound-dem/dim aunt who said to me just yesterday, "I LIKE Dan Rather."

My parents say the same thing. I saw the funniest thing on Family Guy last night. They were talking about going crazy, the father said alot of people go crazy but have and still continue with their lives, then they have a pic of Rather just sitting on the screen for maybe 20 seconds or so, then continue with the cartoon. I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my bed.
Reed: "...if he is nominated for attorney general."
What planet is HE on?
If you watch and listen .. they copy the words of Conservatives ..
Notice how religious Hellary has gotten these days
Problem is .. they can't copy conservative actions and beliefs without giving up their core principals
I cannot. Because I have not checked out any. I do not get any of my information from a single source website. It is a composite of what I have absorbed about the man from multiple decent sources over a series of years, and from my common sense and ability to judge character. I know for a fact that he is not an extremist, is not pro-abortion, is not for so-called open borders, is very law-loving and law-abiding, is a very hard-working-within-the-
system patriotic American success story. He joined the U.S. Air Force. He liked it so much he actually wanted and got an appointment to the Air Force Academy. For personal reasons he left and went to Rice University where he graduated and later graduated from Harvard Law, but was never Ivy League, preferring instead to work in a conservative, very corporate-oriented law firm in Houston, TX. George W Bush plucked him from this firm to be his legal counsel as Gov. of Texas. But of course, George W Bush is no decent source, is he, among the people you are listening to? Oh no, he is "Jorge" Bush the wetback hugging lapdog of Vincente Fox who loves Mexico more than America of which he is President...doesn't that about cover their opinion of him? I say many, not all, of them are bigots.
William Shatner was BORN to play the part of "Denny Crane." In a trial about teaching evolution in schools, the plaintiff attorney said something about "I know that in the land today it is quite fashionable to think God first..." and Shatner jumped up and screamed "That's Bush bashing!"
I laughed so hard I almost fell off the sofa!
And last week, he (Denny Crane) said that there were only two places to find the truth: God and Fox News.
you have to cut Reed some slack. His main job is to keep track of John Kerry's senate attendance.
Thanks, it's on my list to watch now!
Oh??? And what exactly IS my "agenda", pal???
I campaigned for George Bush II and still have a bumper sticker on my car for him.
That doesn't mean I have to agree with all his policies. I don;t check my brain at the door when I support somebody for office.
