About 2,000 people gathered in Punxsutawney, Pa., on Wednesday morning for the updated winter forecast from the famous groundhog.
Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and that means six more weeks of winter.

16 years ago my wife was expecting our daughter. I made the mistake of joking on groundhog day that the baby would poke her head out to look for a shadow, see it and stay put for 6 more weeks. Kristen will celebrate her 16th birthday on Friday.
