About 2,000 people gathered in Punxsutawney, Pa., on Wednesday morning for the updated winter forecast from the famous groundhog.

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow and that means six more weeks of winter.

The only reason to even have "Groundhog Day" is to use it as an excuse to have a house party in the middle of winter to break up the doldrums.

How can he see any shadow with all those camera lights on him? Which shadow does he look at? How does one tell??? Winter never really even hit here in Oregon. Our Sno-pak is complete crap this year!
