Don't forget Freddie "The Gum Flapper" Mitchell!
Today he called out the Media and "so called experts"....
Thank god he has his lovely hands, cuz he's alienating everyone else!

But the Patriots? Quick, name someone from the Patriots other than Tom Brady.
Football is a TEAM sport. The Patriots are a TEAM. The best TEAM will win.
But since you want a name, how about Adam Vinatieri. He's won more BIG games in the last couple of seconds than anyone I know of.

Yup, seeing TO and Freddy getting pummeled off the line down after down, resulting in dropped passes and fumbles, will be the highlight for me..

what were the odds before the game? Who were the favorites? new england was a 10-point underdog a few years back when they beat the rams and ended talk of a dynasty.
which is (part of) why anyone who thinks they can confidently predict a blowout either way is a moron.

I hope the final score is posted somewhere on the net next Monday or Tuesday. I don't care who wins, but I'd like to see the score.HAHAHAHA. where's that damn "monitor cleaning" invoice when I need it?

Exactly, that's what we were talking about: How many times was "the line" wrong.
(All I got for my time looking was a spyware hijacking, so now I'm stuck)

Andy Reid said today that Owens looked good in practice, taking about a third of the plays. Reid said, "He did everything we asked of him. And it was a soggy field, too."
T.O. will play, and he will be effective. The thing about Owens is that he is, and has been called, "the ultimate decoy". A defense cannot ignore him, and that often leaves somebody else open. So even if he plays and doesn't catch a pass (unlikely) he will still have significant value for the Eagles just by being on the field.

While the other receivers are catching passes for huge gains.Like who? Pinkston? One shot from a NE Defensive back and he will turn to jelly..

I just hope the score isn't 35-3 in the middle of the first quarter.

There's not much worse than a blowout Superbowl. Unless the Pats lose.
Which we aren't even going to think about.

What I want to know from Pat fans, is will Seymour come in on offense to block for Dillon/Faulk on short and 3's.
Yes he's a great pass rusher on D, but this year it seemed that whenever he came in for blocking assignments on < 3 yard runs, we converted.
That's where I want him effective.
To: Lancey Howard
Healing the injury he suffered in half the time is bull, and if Eagle fan was honest, he'd admit as such. The Supreme Divinity of the Universe didn't suddenly drop his multi-galactic responsibilities, just to play nursemaid to Mr. Owens.
Yes he has had good PRACTICES, but has he taken a hit? Has he been knocked off balance and been forced to stress that duct tape and baling wire holding his right wheel on?
No.
And the Pats are going to make it a point that T.O. gets heavy contact everytime his tippy-toes touch the field.

I'd like to see Seymour in the game, but other than Brady and Vinatieri, no one player is irreplaceable. This is one of the strongest teams in the history of the sport, with an amazing ability to adapt their play. Imho, of course. :)
And then there's Bruschi.

When the NE linebackers and safeties key on Owens, the only shots they'll have at Mitchell, Pinkston, Westbrook and Lewis will be with cameras. The best part about Super Bowl week, the trash talk!
