Would a 155mm barrage in response be appropriate?? anyone ? Claymores and Helo gunships would be more 'reasonable'.
Seriesly tho, Just a few well placed rifle shots should do the trick.
Does the .50 BMG have the range to reach Mexico city ???

That would work. However; a GE or Dillon Aero Minigun would be more precise and impressive.

I'd settle for backup by a few military sniper teams, with weapons-free ROE on anyone firing across the border.
