Before his death last July, Brando ... recorded voice-overs that virtually reprised his Academy Award-winning role as the titular Don Vito Corleone.

They wouldn't have been able to record very good voice-overs after his death last July, would they?

I saw the ad for that when I bought the action figures.

Anyone remember the spoof of "DMD" on Saturday Night Live where the driver gets too tired of Miss Daisy's guff and tells her so right before he does a tuck and roll out of the car while it's still moving?

I thought Sonny/Caan got whacked about half way through the picture. Is that part of the video game? I was watching a recent episode of Vegas with Caan and he asks the security guys which is the best guy picture and they immediately say Godfather without question. In jokes can be fun.

That is an evil idea and I think we all deserve a apology.

My Dinner With Andre was the worst movie I have ever seen. Partly because I had to watch Wallace Shawn eating actual food for two very long hours.

I was half way through it thinking it was a parody of New York intellectuals before I realized it was meant to be taken seriously.

Wallace Simpson is a caricature of a failed PhD who won't leave University and haunts Manhattan bistros because he has nowhere else to go.

He is the cheese on Woody Allan's dick. That whole crowd that hung around Allan were profoundly tiresome and untalented and whose principle skill was a photographic memory for the names of Maitre D's and hotel doormen.

I hope EA does this movie justice. Lately, that company has turned been churning alot of soulless cash-ins.

Of coarse for Michael, they'll just hire a different actor since Pachino's voice is so far gone.

Had I not gone the MBA route, you would be describing Clemenza.

I can't deny that, but they have been turning out some good games too. Each year's Madden/NCAA is usually worth the money to a football gamer. The two hack and slash Lord of the Rings games were far better than any action gamer expected. Still, having "EA" on the label doesn't automatically make it worth buying. You have to be a more discerning gamer and do some research nowadays, there's just too many titles released in a month anymore.

I have hopes for the Godfather game, but the problem is, most of the free form GTA-vying efforts have missed their mark. The Getaway? Blech. True Crime? Beyond awful. Btw, there's a Scarface game in the works too...

Any Godfather movie is "de rigeur" in my house when they show up on cable.

Had an EyeTie grandfather that could have been in the movie.

As far as a video game, don't think it would be much fun.

Whadya gonna do? Go to the mattresses, sit around makin' meatballs and pasta, waitin' for the war to start?

I was a big fan of ESPN NFL 2K5, so it annoyed me when EA monopolized that market. Goldeneye: Rogue Agent was also a disappointment in that seemed to cash in on a great license.

EA is capable of real innovation (ex: Fight Night). I hope they choose creating better products over freezing out the competition.
