this note alone effectively bans semi auto rifles in the home. with this standing, if they find a semi auto rifle in your house with a shoelace anywhere else in the same house, they can take the guns and likely arrest you.

I own semi-auto rifles and wearing shoes with strings. I guess that makes me a felon. Nothing left to lose now. May as well go whole hog with my new found felon-hood.
