JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- The FBI is trying to determine whether an Islamic Web site that tracked users of an online chat room had anything to do with the killings of a Christian Egyptian family. The site, barsomyat.com, is no longer online. But before it was shut down by its Minnesota hosting company, it reportedly featured photos of Hossam Armanious and his wife, Amal Garas, referring to him as a "filthy dog" and "his filthy wife," according to the New York Sun.

What about the terrorism angle sherlock!!?
But, but, but, the authorities were almost sure this wasn't an act of terrorism...just an ordinary burglary gone awry. Yeah, right. This horrific crime had Islamofascist scum tactics written all over it from the very beginning.
Terrorism is the very last thing they want to be able to prove, j. A simple robbery would suit them best.
We must keep the pressue up on this!!
I'll always remember you because you called it exactly right on the Williams/Malvo sniper case.
The only one to do so, I might add.
Conway said the FBI does not have a hate crimes unit per se, but it does have a unit that investigates civil rights violations. What about the terrorism angle sherlock!!?
Exactly, right? Yeesh!
There's more at Jihadwatch too:
Good work on the postings on this. Don't let up.
WorldNetDaily reported this yesterday, but it looks like it is going mainstream. The first thing the FBI always seems to do is rule out terrorism.
Gee, do you reckon this might have inflamed one of the "faithful" son's of Satan causing them to go cut their throats? I'm sure they did it according to instructions from their book of "Peace", the Koran? < / sarcasm >
This ranks right up there with Flt 800. The American people must be kept ignorant. If they knew half the truth they'd storm DC and hang Congress.
Looks like leads are being followed up. I agree the pressure must be kept up, but we do have to allow the FBI in particular to do its job. From where I sit, it looks like they are doing it. In the meantime, it may be time for some tinkering with the Patriot Act to get at isp's which host terrorist sites.
Typical of these extremist creeps to try to intimidate users of the internet. They don't respect anyone's rights.
Thanks for the ping and the links USF.
I have no doubt that the FBI has been on this case from the beginning.
People need to remember that in an active investigation, a lot of information is not released to the public!
When information is leaked, it hinders not only the investigation, but also the prosecution of the perpetrators, once, if ever, the case goes to court.
I wonder why it took the FBI so long to make the connection? We made it the first day!
Why was the Website taken down? Too much incriminating evidence?
Probably reported to their host, and found in breach of their acceptable use policy.
It's how a lot of Islamic websites get taken down.
I just hope someones downloaded and saved the entire thing as evidence first.
How about Time Machine.com?
I tried waybackmachine.org already.
Nothing came up.
We will keep this story alive as long as it takes. Has it been profiled on America's Most Wanted yet? Does anyone know? John Walsh is a good guy, profiled the islamic terrorists wanted right after 9/11. If it hasn't, we should put some heat on the show to profile this case.
Thx for the ping, USF.
