What the heck is going on - I just got home and turned on cspan and here's specter drolling on. Has there been some sort of dust-up this afternoon? I was reading the thread around noon and the usual suspects were being their usual selves, I thought this thing would be voted on today. Has that changed?
Kennedy was pretty vile.
And yes, it's going on into the night and maybe a vote tomorrow.
Specter has done a good job, IMO.
One wonders if Gonzales himself hasn't been a victim of torture.. a victim of politics?..Specter
