The dems are ignoring it. I heard just a snippet of the Harry and Nancy show from yesterday and the part I did hear was her asserting that the president just wanted to impose a new plan without discussing it, and like you I thought of the commission that has been formed which puts the lie to her rantings.
Specter now referring to Kennedy's "torrid prose" about the memo that was written (not by Gonzales) and he cited yet another memo and Specter is pointing out Judge Gonzales had nothing to do with that memo.
Specter pointing out that Gonzales was available to the committee for questions .. but that not every one took him up on the offer
If I recall of the hearing .. wasn't it pointed out that not all the Dems even showed up for those private meetings with the Committee members??
OT: But CNN reporting that Jesse Jackson wants to go over to Iraq to seek the release of John Adam.
