Every station is being VERY careful. If they only have commentators saying the perp is guilty they get sued, big time.

They must have both opinions to protect themselves.

Don't think so...it's in the public domain...though the defendant is presumed innocent, police investigation, arrest, then DA's decision to prosecute are presumptions of some indication of guilt..
