SQL Server is the # 1 database server on Microsoft Windows Server (the only platform that Microsoft SQL Server runs on), having overtaken Oracle long ago.
In Microsoft's last quarter results released last week, sales of Microsoft SQL Server were simply SMOKING..up a solid 25%.

The awesome new version of SQL Server (Yukon)coming out this year is going to send Microsoft SQL Server to even greater heights
