You have just described one of many reasons they need / needed a PR pro.

P.S. Elian's PR guy was worse. He only wanted face time so he could get elected to the Miami / Dade County Commission. He told the family he was an "advertising and PR pro." In reality, he sold imprinted keychains and pens for a living!

In the two areas I mentioned, a moron would be all they needed. I am wondering if it was deliberate to be honest.
