I think part of it has to do with the silence of the pastors. Once D. James Kennedy put up a petition to Gov Bush to save Terri, there were over 100,000 sigs in a day.
Dr. Dobson has spoken up for Terri but I think we need to hear from more pastors in an expetited fashion. Maybe some folks just need that reassurance from their leaders that it's the right thing to do. Lots of folks aren't independent thinkers.Just my guess...
I think the reason that we have not heard from more pastors is that they are clueless about Terri. There has been little coverage of her on MSM, and "headline" news is what most pastors have time to hear. They have so many duties trying to tend to their errant flocks as well as preparation of fresh sermons once and twice a week.
