As soon as you respond, they deny having said what they just said, accuse you of lying, and then change the subject, demanding you respond to the new subject."
We're listing the signs that indicate a conscious one, if you catch my drift...
One really strange thing they all do is to be unable to distinguish themself from the person they argue with. We got a new one today doing just that. Makes five of 'em now... They'll take their own words, claim that you said them, then argue against it. Arguing with themselves! Or, they'll take your words, claim them as their own, and defend themselves over something they didn't say. Arguing with themselves again!
The credibility and truthfulness of anything said by a person who can't tell the difference between himself and someone else is very, very suspect.

Most of the people to whom you are referring, in the words of the late "Sergeant Friday," just "do not know the facts" of this tragic case. And even if they did, they would not want to be "confused by the facts," as prejudiced people often don't say.
