Yeah I was wondering the same thing. Seems these two were in on the earlier mugging. They should be tried as accomplices. Stating that they were 'shocked' is more than disingenuous.
I find it hard to believe they're not going to charge the entire crew.
It is NYC, however.
And why were the police not patrolling the area after the first report of a robbery and pistol whipping in that same area.
