"We may pay less for asparagus, but in the end we pay more, don't we, in the form of taxes for other services? "

Not me, I live in Texas. I loves dem cheap exotic foods from California. Avocados, artichokes, grapes, wines, oranges, cantaloupes, dates...even lettuce and tomatoes.

What do I care if California schools, hospitals, and parks are suffering? Ain't my case that them Californians are paying the highest taxes in the world. So what if they are paying more for shacks than the rest of the country pays for mansions? Their gang problems, drug problems, diseases, litter, weeds, congestion don't make me no nevermind.

I figure they must like it or else they would accept the offer of the Bush administration to train their state and local police to enforce the immigration laws. Bet it wouldn't take them one month to bust all the employers of illegals in the valley. Maybe a week per zip code in Los Angles.

But if they don't care why should I. Send me more cheap food California. And thanks for driving all the companies out with your high taxes. They really pay good for our real estate in Texas.(think its cheap, yuk yuk) And just let us know if you need any electricity.

We'll keep that in mind next time Texas has its hand out.
