COPTIC KILLINGS Christians stalked on Islamic website Murdered New Jersey man among several tracked by Muslims

The New Jersey man brutally murdered with his family was just one of a number of Christians systematically tracked by a radical Islamic website because they debate Muslims on the popular Internet chat service PalTalk.com.

The password-protected Arabic website www.barsomyat.com, includes the kind of death threat received by Hossam Armanious, a Coptic Christian from Jersey City, N.J., who was found Jan. 14 with his wife and two daughters, bound and gagged with their throats slashed, the New York Sun reports.

Two months before his murder, according to authorities, Armanious received a death threat from a Muslim PalTalk user: "You'd better stop this bull ... or we are going to track you down like a chicken and kill you."

The Sun's report says barsomyat.com features photographs and information about Christians who actively debate on PalTalk, including a group of photographs of a Syrian Christian, "Joseph," who now lives in Canada.

COPTIC KILLINGS Christians stalked on Islamic website Murdered New Jersey man among several tracked by Muslims

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- © 2005 WorldNetDaily.com The New Jersey man brutally murdered with his family was just one of a number of Christians systematically tracked by a radical Islamic website because they debate Muslims on the popular Internet chat service PalTalk.com.

Personal information posted by subscribers clearly indicates they are trying to find his current address, the paper said.

One comment warns: "Know, oh Christian, that you are not far from us and you are under our watchful eyes!"

Another says: "Laugh, oh Christian, and soon you will see a big hit."

The Islamic website's banner displays lamb with its throat being slit and a crucifix crossed out by a violent red "X." The main heading, in Arabic, says "Christians: Revealing the Truth Behind Our Belief."

Authorities have not determined whether the Armanious family's murder is tied to Islamic radicals, but the Sun says barsomyat.com users expressed delight in the deaths.

One post, with a photograph of Armanious and his wife, said, "This is a picture of the filthy dog, curser of Muhammad, and a photo of his filthy wife, curser of Muhammad. They got what they deserved for their actions in America."

The Islamic website has at least seven collections of photographs of Christians who post on PalTalk and about 40 related discussion threads.

One post is about a Christian man whose computer apparently was hacked to obtain his photograph. It includes his PalTalk name, real name and the city where he lives in Lebanon, the Sun reported.

Another entry, with photographs of four Christians, says it has postponed publishing information "because there is a lot more to be revealed when the time is right."

Islam researcher and writer Robert Spencer, moderator of the weblog JihadWatch.com, told the Sun he has never seen anything like the posts on barsonmyat.com.

"It's chilling to see photographs of people who probably have no idea that they're on the website," he said. "Hamas's website would post self-congratulatory accounts of their attacks on civilians, but barsomyat.com's users are telegraphing their intended victims in advance."

Spencer told the New York paper he sees barsomyat.com as a "prime example" of how Islamic extremists can utilize technology to attempt to bring Islamic religious law to the West.

"We saw in the Theo van Gogh murders that some Muslims will take these kinds of matters into their own hands," Spencer said, referring to the murdered Dutch filmmaker. "The Internet makes it easier for them to do so by disseminating this kind of information. You could imagine 15 years ago how hard it would be for people to get this much information on people who they believe should be killed."

On his JihadWatch weblog, Spencer posted translations of conversations. He says, "It is clear that the personal information is being exchanged in order to facilitate the murders of the people discussed.

Bibo 117: Allah bless you brothers! Here is the surprise you've all been waiting for and we haven't published yet due to a certain reason. The damned Muhammad-cursing dog "[NAME REMOVED]" is the big brother of "[NAME REMOVED]" and their little brother is the one called "[NAME REMOVED]."

"[NAME REMOVED]" the dog is married to the daughter of one of the Muhammad-cursing Christians from paltalk. We have postponed publishing this information because there is a lot more to be revealed when the time is right. These are the pictures of the "devil triangle."

[Photos of the people mentioned were then posted.]

Bibo 117: For you my brothers I now present the second photo collection of the Muhammad-cursing paltalk pigs. Wait a little for the rest of the pictures. The first photo is that of the foul smelling ugly pig "[NAME REMOVED]."

Anti Christians: [Posts Photos:] "The deceitful [NAME REMOVED]" and "The liar [NAME REMOVED]." [In green in the middle:] "Beware!"

Bibo 117: Fellow brothers this is the picture of one of the most Muhammad-cursing Christians. It was taken as he was opening a camera with one of the young Christian ladies from Paltalk.

*After he is finished, the isolation of the Christian lady will be completed.

This idiots name on paltalk: [NAME REMOVED] His real name is: [NAME REMOVED] He lives in [NAME REMOVED].

If an Islamic gang spray graffiti on a Jewish cemetery in Paris, it becomes a major front page news in the US. Why is it the slaughter of four innocent people in our country does not create the rage of our public and media as it did in Holland after the slaughter of Mr. Van Gogh? Is our media specifically anti-Christian?

These people cannot be allowed to get away with terrorizing others in this country. Please God, let them be caught and punished!

People who live by the fatwa probably die by the fatwa, too. Wonder how often this has been used to "out" one of the terrorists themselves (falsely or not), thus letting their comrades do them in...

This Investigation had a good head start by available information; I have been away and am wondering. . .just what progress has been made.

It is clear that the murder of this family was just 'busines as usual' . . .and the real animals are ready to take o more. . .

I hope the Authorities are equally business-like and just as focused. . .and efficient.

You have a good point here, but would our media start the indignation that the dutch showed after the slaughter of Van Gogh? If our public was fed 24x7 news on Scott Peterson, why is it difficult for the media bosses to recognize that in the middle of our war on Muslim terrorists that our public would be outraged for Muslim terrorists attacking and killing a whole family in cold blood, in our country.

The Imam who issued the fatwa against this Christian guy is already out of the U.S. Do you think the government of Sudan is going to extradite him to the U.S.? They are busy killing their own Christian citizens.

I am not sure who done it, but it is obvious that there were several Muslim Egyptian guys involved. The point is when a fanatic Muslim copilot intentionally crashed Egypt Air killing all the passengers and himself, the Egyptian government successfully pressured the U.S. to down play the Islamic terrorist motive. Do you suppose we are going to get similar pressure to sweep this slaughter under the rug?

I've posted this before, but it bears repeating. Folks, be very careful of PalTalk.

My extended family all joined so that we could get a private room to talk and exchange pictures. My brother's account was stolen along with all the personal information he had given when registering.

We all dropped PalTalk because of this lack of security.

Obviously this country is not outraged over the freedom of speech for Mr. Armanious, and his slaughtered family.

I don't think there is any question there is pressure to keep this quiet - off the radar screen. Think they are afraid that a religious war might break out and there would be worse to come.

However, do think they are ignoring that with religious threats as are being made; and have now been carried out; a war has already been declared.

Contrary to the tactics here; I think if these aggrieved Coptic Christians begin to feel that justice is going to be delayed or obscurred; it can only make things worse. . .

They must know the person(s) who made the threat. . .surely (?) have questioned them by now. . .(lie detector etc.(?) . . .

.I don't know; but this has got to surface at some point. I surely hope so.

The Dutch did not think so, and the British did not think so. When Sullman Rushdi was threatened, the whole country was up in arm in outrage, and defense of freedom of speech. When Van Gogh was killed in the streets of Amsterdam (no one can prove it was a Muslim), but the whole country was outraged. This four people slaughter in cold blood, in the heart of the New York area (thousands of reporters are living nearby) could have been another 9/11, and its coverage could have been another Scott Peterson nonstop reporting. What gives?

Well, coulda; shoulda. . .woulda; it has not happened.

Salman Rushdie; 'celebrity author'. . .Van Gogh; celebrity film maker. . .both nationally profiled; media could not help itself; and of course, both men, are/were 'one of their own'. And as you said; could have been another 9/11. . .and/or Scott Peterson.

But is not. . .and Greta Van Sustern has moved on to safer homicides to highlight her program.

In any event, this New Jersey town has deliberately avoided public scrutiny; they obviously do not want the 'flames' fanned on this one; do not want their town profiled as well and more hate/agitation/threats/massacres. . .might not be able to control the consequences of hate/fear etc. . .or so this MO seems to indicate. (?)

And of course, the Lib media is more than happy to accomodate; does not work for them; they prefer 'we' be the enemy; not the real perps. . .the are not interested in the authentic 'enemies within' . . .

I think it is a mistake; and the 'low profiling' of this; favors those who commit the crime and further alienates the community of the victims as it offers little reassurance to the religious community; who have all been violated by these threats.

.OTOH. . .maybe the police are in fact, keeping them informed. . .and showing them; at least; that they are making progress on what should be. . .a number one priority for Justice.

Re Van Gogh; this story has not resolved itself . . the media did not linger too long on this one, actually - all things considered.

We will have to wait to see just how the Dutch finally put real closure on this.

Thank you very much for the extended reply. I do admire people with good depth, and intellectual integrity. The New Jersey case was not profiled as hate/religious crime because, according to our liberal media: "we have no proofs" that Muslim fanatics did the crime. But, what I am saying is the entire Dutch people, and Dutch government were very incensed and outraged EVEN THOUGH THEY HAD NO PRROOF that it was a Muslim fanatic who committed that crime either. In Amsterdam, one fanatic Muslim was reported to have fled the country, and so is the same story of an Imam in New Jersey who has left the U.S. after issuing a "fatwa" against the Armanios family?
