Evolution is a different mechanism from gene splicing.

Very good selective reading. I said that "one of the most common tools used by biologists to change gene sequences is to Evolve them". I didn't say the "only" tool.

And my understanding of process of actual "gene splicing" is that subsequent to the splitting and inserting of the foreign gene, the sample is grown and selected for the desired trait. I.E. it is "Evolved". This is necessary because the vast majority of splices fail, and the successful ones must be selected using the same process as Gods "Natural selection".

Human selection vs. Natural selection. I'm amazed you think that God cannot do what humans can.

How little you must think God is.

Right, which only means that it was poor attempt at obfuscation.

It is selected by the designer. Why argue something that is inarguable.

Who cares what amazes you? Certainly not me. I think God can do anything God pleases. The mechanisms God uses are entirely up to God.

How little you must think God is.

You're a fool. God is omnipotent, not you narby. You don't know squat. :-}

I think it is more accurate to say, "How little mortal man's perceptions." Most people really do not grasp concepts like infinity, much less the size and span of the visible universe. Once you have some grasp of the immense canvas the Creator had available to paint His masterpiece, you can understand the processes that went into into, such as evolution, physics, geology, etc.

To illustrate this, lets look to the Bible itself. In Exodus, Moses leads 600,000 men out of Egypt, which would put the total number including women and children at over 2 million. Jacob's household who entered Egypt numbered 70. In 430 years or so, the house of Israel went up 28,500 times. Such a huge change took place in only four centuries - imagine what changes were worked in the billions of years before that.
