What are the chances that at least one insurgent in Iraq just said ' screw it' dropped his weapons and went to vote?

I looked at the pride on an old Iraqi woman's face as she looked at all the younger women standing in line with her. It must be something to see your people act so selflessly and courageously, and know you are part of that people.

What's an insurgent? Do you mean a 7th century throat-cutting assassin?

I thought the elections were about homeland security for America. Therefore, shouldn't the title be "Huge win for American Homeland Security" ??

And since when is democracy a good thing? Our founding fathers sure didn't think much of it...

That said, may God bless the Iraqi people in their quest for freedom and a legitimately elected, representative government.
