OK, well, I hadn't realized the towns were adjoining one another. Buffalo is more recognizable as to where it's at in NY, I've heard of Amherst University, so, that makes sense. :)
I usually just say I live in Buffalo......if I say Cheektowaga, I get a blank look. Cheektowaga and Amherst are right outside the city. In the 'burbs.
