Actually, it costs you absolutely nothing to make that statement, nor does it have any bearing at all upon whether she recovers. Given those circumstances, I'd say here's a golden opportunity to get ourselves a reputation for compassion on the cheap. So here's hoping she recovers!

I always love these threads when something bad happens to someone we despise and the thread deteriorated into the good Freepers versus the Bad Freepers. I think I try to be the former, but in my secret recesses of my black, sinful heart, I am with the bad ones.
