Reading further on in the Broaddrick Files link, it mentions many times that we were at war in Yugoslavia and Bill needed to concentrate on the war effort, as a reason why the media didn't pursue the Broaddrick allegations.

Too bad they forgot that practice as soon as Bush was elected.

The war in Yugoslavia was so puny by comparison, that I often forget it occurred.

Yes, the media seems to have forgotten a lot of the consideration afforded the office of the president since President Bush has held the office. It's infuriating.
