I'd rather hear about all those blue-fingered women in Iraq tonight, then how Hillary is spreading a flu bug all over northern New York.

Staying home when one is sick is one of the best health care moves anyone can make in the wintertime! And it doesn't cost a penny (I'm sure she has personal days and vacation time accrued. lol).

You know, when I read your first post about this, I was skeptical, but you may be on to something. Sounds mighty suspicious.

Susan Estrich? YOu mean the woman who ran Michael DUkakis' Presidential Campaing in 1988?

I would think that her succes in 1988 would give most people serious pause about any idea she puts forth.

But that's just me. I mean, if Susan Estrich is really suggesting that Hillary Clinton is so much better than the "common rabble" (and I include myself in that group of decent folks), then she is on national TV revealing herself to be the ass I have always thought that she is.

"Hillary is such a noble martyred woman."

Martyred? Has she died?

And I suppose there are some who really think that Hillary is "noble".

I don't happen to be one of them. I think she is lacking in class, grace, and the manners that, say, Barbara and Laura Bush (as well as Nancy Reagan) -- truly nobel women all -- possess and exhibit so effortlessly.

Eleanor Clift's surmise that hilary has been too caring of her husband and her constituents to take care of herself is laughable.

Did she really say that??? Eleanor Clift has NO shame, does she????

"Pray for your enemies." Should I be praying for OBL's kidneys to get better?

Yes.

And you should also be praying that he is captured by our forces and faces the temporal justice here on Earth that he so richly deserves, and you should also be praying that he repents of his sins and accepts the salvation of Christ's sacrifice, before he ascends the gallows.

This is not that difficult to comprehend. God's justice and Man's justice are two different things, totally orthogonal to each other, both of them ordained by the Author of Creation.

Forgiving your enemies doesn't mean asking that they not receive just punishment, up to and including the death penalty when warranted. It means letting go of the hatred in your own heart and praying that your enemy will receive Christ and be made whole and perfect before God after his death.

In post 72, you said: Hey yall, does it count if you think bad tasteless things and refrain from saying them?

In post 580, I said: No, that's the route to heaven (not saying bad things that pop into your head about people).

Have Rush on in the background here in the office and heard him say that Clift was just on FNC and made that statement.

Clift has exchanged slick willie knee pads for hilary knee pads.

Matthew 5:43-48

Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

"Oh my, this is serious. FNC has brought out SUSAN ESTRICH! UNGHHHHH!"

- I just heard Limbaugh say that Eleanor Clift was interviewed and offered the opinion that Hitlery probably collapsed because of the strain from worrying about her husbands health and also working day and night for the good of the voters of New York.
Eleanor drank the Kool Aid long ago; she just refuses to die.

"You no doubt know more about Christianity than I do"

No, I am still learning. While I cannot love my enemy yet I can pray for their souls. And I can refrain from wishing them ill. I have a ways to go yet...
